VMC 1000DSP series twin spindle vertical machining center for twice the productivity

Two spindles give the VMC 1000DSP double the productivity of the standard machine. Based on the VMC 1000 series, the generous dimensions of the work surface and traverse of the VMC 1000DSP twin spindle vertical machining centers allow the most productive machining of an extensive range of workpieces and guarantee maximum capacity. They have a very compact, rigid cross slide table for instant operational readiness.

For increased productivity including the ability to load and unload within the machining cycle, the VMC 1000DSP machining centers are equipped as standard with an automatic pallet changer. Their high performance level, precision and speed put them in a class apart. As regards price EIKON machining centers are highly competitive when compared to others in the same range. The compact design of the torsion and deflection -resistant twin work spindles of the VMC 1000DSP series meets maximum requirements. The tool magazine is fitted as standard with 2 off 20 tool locations and is ideally suited for large batch production.

The machine is equipped with twin 12.000 rpm (ISO 40) spindles. The spindle power can reach 11 kW starting from 1.500 rpm. The machine also has centralized coolant device supplied by an automatic pump. A secondary coolant pump ensures swarf is kept clear of the working area. Through spindle coolant is also available as an optional specification.

The VMC series can also be supplied with a wide range of CNC systems: Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain which enables it to be adapted to real working conditions depending on the end user's requirements.
