VMC 1000 series vertical machining centers with high capacity

The generous dimensions of the work surface and traverse of the VMC vertical machining centers allow optimal machining of an extensive range of workpieces and guarantee maximum capacity. They have a very compact, rigid cross slide table for instant operational readiness. What distinguishes EIKON VMC series from other machining centers of the same type is their high performance, precision, speed and advantageous prices.

For increased productivity including the ability to load and unload within the machining cycle, the VMC 1000P machining centers are available with automatic pallet changer. Their high performance level, precision and speed put them in a class apart. As regards price EIKON machining centers are highly competitive when compared to others in the same range. The compact design of the torsion and deflection -resistant work spindle of the VMC series meets maximum requirements. The tool magazine is fitted as standard with 20 tool locations (optional 36) and is ideally suited for batch production.

The machine can optionally be equipped with a 12.000 rpm (ISO 40) or 24.000 rpm (HSK 63) spindle. The spindle power can reach 11 kW or 18.5 kW starting from 1.500 rpm. The machine can also accept an ultra high speed 32,000 rpm spindle (HSK-E40) with special ceramic bearings. The machine also has centralized coolant device supplied by an automatic pump. A secondary coolant pump ensures swarf is kept clear of the working area. Through spindle coolant is also available as an optional specification.

The VMC series can also be supplied with a wide range of CNC systems: Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain which enables it to be adapted to real working conditions depending on the end user's requirements.
